In possibly one of the most bold moves of any outdoors equipment company of late, Swedish brand Haglofs have just released their 2013 Intense range of active clothing and their Monochrome colour story.
The Intense range was born from the requirements of adventure racers who needed clothing to suit the multi-sport nature of the races in which they were competing. Haglofs' 2013 range builds on an already strong line-up of clothing by bringing more bike-oriented pieces to the market, plus a brand new range of trail running shoes which tie in to the Monochrome colour-way.
The range is as colourful as it is functional and as Fredrik Lundberg, head of strategic design at Haglofs states, 'every detail is colour blocked, it looks bold and simple..but at the same is very hard to make as there are so many ingredients that need to be colour matched.'
planetFear editor Dave MacFarlane filmed this promo at the 2013 Strathpuffer in Scotland where Haglofs UK launched their Intense range.
What we think - The range is definitely bold and the colours are immense, it's definitely a refreshing break from what we think is out-dated blacks and greys, dress it up or down if you want but the new Monochrome colours for Haglofs' 2013 Intense range are designed to be seen. We love it.
